Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is also popular as an Annapurna sanctuary Trekking also. ABC trekking starts from either Phedi or Nayapul. On this trek, you can walk every day for five to seven hours stop for lunch in a tea house and finally stay in a Tea house lodge overnight. The journey will basically start as your choice or as your timetable.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp has comfortable tea houses and verities of organic foods made by local people. It is in the north-central part of Nepal containing a chain of peaks. That comprises the 10th highest peak in the world Annapurna I along with 14 peaks above eight thousand meters.

Annapurna region trekking is protected by the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). The area of Annapurna conservation is 7,639 kilometers square. This is the first and largest conservation in Nepal.

You will be surrounded by the High snow-capped Himalayas. Shows Hiunchuli Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Tent Peak, Lamjung Himal, Fishtail, etc.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is finished within 7 to 12 days. So, it will depend upon your hiking speed or starting point and ending point. Annapurna base camp trek is known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking as well. The itinerary and services cost $630/– for each person until 4 people in a group. In addition, the group and the price of trekking will be less than I mentioned before.

It is better to sign up for ABC with poon hill Trek. If you are looking for a short and easy trek, the Ghorepani poon hill Trek is the best option. There will be several choices for adventure seekers. Like the Annapurna Circuit Trek and Jomsom Muktinath Trek, the Annapurna Panchase Trek is more popular.

Itinerary

An arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal holiday trip staff will arrange you to pick up from the airport. We will transfer to the Hotel as you recognize. You can either visit our office Nepal holiday trip in Thamel or take a rest at the Hotel. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be served to us in a traditional Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic cuisine with a brief cultural program. Overnight in Kathmandu included Dinner. Shortcut form of B=Breakfast, L=Lunch and D=Dinner
This day you will fly or drivefrom Kathmandu to Pokhara around 1pm. After reaching in Pokhara you somebody will pick you up from Airport to the hotel and Guide will take you around Fewa Lake and visit in the Devi’s falls, Gupteshower Cave and Tal Barahi Temple. You can go for boating in a Lake. Overnight at Pokhara B.B
Today is first day to hike in mountain. Morning time we will take a breakfast and take car or taxi to go to Nayapul it is around 45 km from Pokhara and start to walk from there. We trek Nepali flat to follow the road and after being the Syaulibazar the path follows uphill on the way to Ghandruk. While on the trail, we again enjoy the panoramic views of mountains, pass along various small villages like Kimche, Syaulibazar and many more villages. After crossing the suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we reach Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung community village. Overnight at Ghandruk (B.L.D)
At this juncture, we climb up for an hour up to Ghandrukkot and then steep descent takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong khola, we have an easy walk of about an hour. Then, we take a steep climb continuing up to Chhomrong. While climbing, we encounter the mighty peak of Annapurna south above the village and view of fishtail Mountain facing across the valley. Chhomrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive. Again we have to walk down around 3,600 steps down to the river and we cross suspension bridge then trek up to Sinawa Dada. Overnight at Sinawa (B, L, D)
Today the ascent from Sinawa becomes somewhat flatter. The trail passes through a thick and dark Rhododendron forest up to Khuldighar. Then, we descend long steps stone in too deep bamboo and rhododendron forest through which we reach Dobhan shortly. Again the path goes with gently gradual ascent following the above river through thick Bamboo, oak and Rhododendron forest up the side of the canyon. About an hour walk from Dobhan we will reach the Himalaya and slidely walk uo to Deurali. Overnight at Deurali (B, L, D)
The day starts walking uphill again. the way to Machhapuchre base camp. There are avalanche prone areas at some point on the trail. We have to be alert to protect ourselves. If there is any wind after about half an hour walk from Deurali, we will find ourselves in the middle of a river bed surrounded by giant snow covered mountains. When the sun rises, the snow on the mountains shines and river valley is filled with warm sun rays. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous but the unfolding view of the majestic Machhapuchre is certainly a rewarding experience. From here we can see Hiunchuli 6,443m, Annapurna south 7,219m, Annapurna I 8,091m, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchre. Overnight at Annapurna base Camp (B, L, D)
This day we have gone achieve our target. So you get up early in the morning around sun rise time and watch sround Annapurna himalaya range including Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Fishtail, Annapurna III and many more. Than we gone a have breakfast and pack our bag, After having breakfast we start descending from ABC. to Bamboo back through MBC, Deurali, Himalaya and Dobhan until we finally reach Bamboo. Heading back down to the valley is much easier than climbing up. We will see the waterfalls that drop down from a high point to the rocks below. We further pass through the forests with great views of fishtail and Hiunchuli Mountains. Overnight at Bamboo (B, L, D)
From bamboo, we head for a step ascent to the Sinawa following the stone steps that lead to Lower Chhomrong, we descend to Jhinu Dada. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy hot springs Just 15 minute walk from Jhinu Dada to reach the Hot spring. Overnight at Jhinu Dada (B, L, D)
We trek form Jhinu Danda to New Bridge and then Kumi village. We can get a jeep to drive back from kiumi to Pokhara and direct to Airport. Around 2 o’clock you will fly back to Pokhara to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu (B.B)
